Description
The Glacier Jewish Community/B'nai Shalom is hosting the Bluegrass-Americana-Roots band Nefesh Mountain on Thursday, August 10, 7:00pm at the O’Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center in Whitefish. Tickets can be purchased on the platform zeffy, on the homepage of the congregation's website www.glacierjc.org, and at the door.
Nefesh Mountain has been hailed as one of the formative boundary-pushing groups in roots music. The band's creators and dynamic husband and wife team Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff have created a world and sound all their own - blurring the lines between Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz and Blues with a masterful hand as songwriters, instrumentalists and composers alike. Called “a master class in string music” by Rolling Stone, and “arguably some of the best bluegrass every made” by American Songwriter, Nefesh Mountain is a New York-based progressive bluegrass band that bridges elements of American folks and Appalachian bluegrass with Celtic folk and Eastern European melodies.
