Ranger-led Snowshoe Discovery Hike

Saturday, February 20, 2021 (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (MST)

Description

Snowshoeing is a great way to get out and hike during the winter! You can explore trails that you wouldn’t be able to get to with regular old boots and you can observe how plants and animals adapt to the changing seasons. This ranger-led hike will explore the unique ways that different animals have adapted to winter weather and is a great beginner snowshoe hike for all ages!
Snowshoes are available at the visitor center on a first come first serve basis and the rental is included in the program fee. If there is not enough snow present, the hike will still go on! We recommend bringing yak tracks or other shoe traction devices if there is not enough snow for snowshoeing.
*Call the visitor center at (406) 755-2706 ext. 0 to reserve your spot, as space is limited.
**Cost is free for 12 & under and 13 & older are $4.00/person
***We will be following the executive orders for Covid-19. All social distancing guidelines will be in place.
