Northwest Montana History Museum Movie Night

Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

Life for young Joel Rigney (Chuck Pierce Jr.) in a small Quaker enclave in Montana is nothing special. That is, until his family is taken from him and brutally murdered by a dangerous roaming outlaw gang.

Driven by an unwavering sense of justice, where it’s an eye for an eye and a life for a life, Joel sets off alone into the wild Montana frontier, determined to get even while encountering peril after peril along the way. Will he find the justice he so desires, or will the untamed plains and wilds swallow him whole, reuniting him with his family in the worst way possible?

The Winds of Autumn is an independently made revenge western film written and directed by Charles B. Pierce and was filmed in Kalispell and Glacier National Park.

The Northwest Montana History Museum brings the past alive through exhibits, artifacts, educational programs, and events. Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through August, at 124 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. nwmthistory.org; 406-756-8381
