MFG Tour 2023 - Weyerhaeuser Plywood & Lumber Students & Educators Tour 12PM

Description
Visitors will tour both the Plywood & Lumber plants, which showcase unique products with exceptionally aesthetic qualities and Weyerhaeuser's dedicated workforce. Mainly Douglas fir and Western larch are used at Weyerhaeuser due to their ability to produce fine grain and smooth faces. This Kalispell plant manufactures plywood products to various grades, dimensions, and performance standards appropriate for a wide range of customer end-uses, while the lumber plant manufactures solid sawn studs, available in various lengths to domestic markets coast-to-coast. Tour is limited to 25 people. Closed toe shoes required. No loose fitting clothing. LONG PANTS required. Students must be 5th grade and up.

Turn off HWY 2 onto Sunset Drive. Use caution when crossing the railroad tracks. You'll come to the single level building on the left side of the parking lot ahead of you.
