Creeptober at Lone Pine: Creepy Crawlers of Montana

Saturday, October 30, 2021 (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

Enjoy one or all in our four-week program series this October that celebrates the misunderstood, unappreciated, and gross in the natural world around us. Held in our open-air picnic shelter around the fire, this series will let you enjoy night sounds while you learn about some of our spookier residents. Be sure to dress for chilly evening temperatures, and we’ll bring the hot cocoa and apple cider.
Creepy crawlers of Montana:
Insects, bugs and arachnids: what are these tiny creatures up to, and should we be worried when we see them? Some creepy crawlers have the potential to harm, while others only help. And in spite of toxic black widow bites and disease-spreading mosquitos, our world would be much worse without them. Learn more at this spooky ranger talk!
Call the visitor center at (406) 755-2706 ext. 0 to register, as space is limited.
Cost is FREE ($8 park entry fee still applies for non-residents)
