-Pack appropriately. This time of year calls for light down jackets, hats, flannels and active wear.
-Bring a reusable water bottle. We have water fill stations all over town where you can get tasty water and help declutter our environment.
-If you forget something, we hae local shops that are ready to help you out, including Rocky Mountain Outfitters, The Toggery and Western Outdoor.

In Kalispell, we're 32 miles from Glacier National

In Kalispell, we're 32 miles from Glacier National Park. And chances are if you are coming to Kalispell, you may also be planning a trip to our backyard national park.

If you plan to visit the Backbone of the World in 2022, there are some things you need to know.
-A vehicle reservation system is in place from May 27 - Sepember 11, 2022.
-Vehicle reservations are needed for the Going-to-the-Sun Road and the North Fork.
-Apgar and Sprague Creek campgrounds are now reservations-only campgrounds.
-If you have a confirmed activity booking inside the park, that serves as your vehicle reservation. This includes camping, guided boat tours and hotel reservations.
