Flathead Electric Cooperative’s Pulse Project

9/8/2021 - 9/9/2021

Description

Started in 2018, the Pulse Project was designed to meet two basic needs in our community by collecting life-saving blood and raising funds for energy assistance through an annual community blood drive and fundraiser. Every day, FEC employees encounter members in our community who are experiencing a temporary financial crisis. These members don’t qualify for other low-income assistance programs, and since we are a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, we have limited means to help out these members in their time of need. Pulse Project 2021 We’re holding a two-day blood drive on September 8 and 9, 2021. September 8 will be a Red Cross Blood Drive at FEC’s Kalispell office, and September 9 will be at Vitalant headquarters. Our goal is to collect 100 pints of blood, making this one of the state’s largest community blood drives.
