We’re tickled pink to share that Glacier National Park’s Going-to-the-Sun Road will open to Logan Pass and Rising Sun on July 13! 🌞 A few things to note:
-There will be no exit at St. Mary, as the park’s east entrances will not be opening this season
-You can turn around at Logan Pass or Rising Sun
-All visitors will access the road via the Camas entrance or West Glacier entrance
-Many people will want to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road; be sure to have a plan (and a backup plan), pack water and food and bring your patience
-Remember that weather conditions are often different at the top of the Continental Divide (Logan Pass); bring layers and good shoes
