Ranger-led Full Moon Hike: Park After Dark

Saturday, February 27, 2021 (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM) (MST)

Description

Join us for the first full moon hike of 2021! This month’s moon, the Snow Moon, is named for the abundance of snow that covers the ground in February. It goes by other names too, depending on who you ask. During this ranger-led hike, we will explore Lone Pine after dark and dive into full moon facts and the effects full moons have on wildlife.
Please bring a headlamp if you have one. Yak tracks or other forms of shoe traction are recommended for winter hikes if snow is light and trails are icy. We will have snowshoes for rent, if the weather permits, on a first come first serve basis and rental fees are included in the program fee.
*Call the visitor center at (406) 755-2706 ext. 0 to reserve your spot, as space is limited.
**Cost is free for 12 & under and 13 & older are $4.00/person
***We will be following the executive orders for Covid-19. All social distancing guidelines will be in place.
