This summer at ImagineIF Libraries it’s all about the bees! Learn about beekeeping, make a beeswax candle and sweeten a smoothie with honey. Come in and enjoy the sweet life.
Visit our interactive beekeeping station and learn what it takes to keep bees. Find out more about building hives and try on a beekeeper suit. Is beekeeping in your future? June 14-21
Drop in at one of our locations for a sneak preview into our summer of play and enjoy some favorite blasts from the past too. June 11 & 12, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sand, drill and paint your own block of lumber to be something terrific. Build a tower and demolish it with a wrecking ball. Whatever you do, yell “Timber!” June 18 & 19, 3-4 p.m.
It’s a wondrous sphere of swirls and sparkle. What makes a bubble so special? Pop into play with a dazzling display of spectacular soap suds. June 25 & 26, 3-4 p.m.
ONGOING WEEKLY EVENTS
Sing, dance, read and explore while also building social and emotional skills. This fun and interactive class is for toddlers and preschoolers who love to move! Bring your sense of fun for the included messy and sensory play that helps prepare children for future learning success. Caregiver participation encouraged. (ages 2-4) Tuesdays, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
With a special emphasis on independence and a focus on longer stories, listening, and taking turns, preschoolers in this class will gain skills they need for kindergarten success. Sessions will also include fun songs, movement and basic literacy concepts, as well as math and science exploration. (ages 4-5) Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Share smiles, stories, rhymes and more at this entertaining and interactive class for infants and toddlers and their caregivers. Rhythm and repetition form a foundation for learning by strengthening language connections in the brain. Participants will also learn fun techniques for using books, songs, and rhymes at home. (birth to age 2) Thursdays, 11-11:30 a.m.

Stranger Things Escape Room
Eleven needs demigorgon-defeating sustenance, but Hawkins National Laboratory scientists have hidden her Eggos in a lockbox in the AV Club room. Help the party solve clues to unlock the waffles before it’s too late! (Stranger Things attire encouraged.) June 13, 12-1:30 p.m. & 2-2:30 p.m.
Become a confectioner, a chemist, and demolition expert all at once, and cook up batches of exploding candy. Take your crackling creations to the next level by designing a logo to adorn its packaging. June 20, 12-1:30 p.m. & 2-2:30 p.m.
